ICC Champions Trophy 2009 is going to be held in South Africa from 22nd September to 5th October.8 teams are divided into 2 groups with 4 teams in each group. There would be total 15 matches, which would be played in 2 stadiums, with a period of 14 days.
This is the sixth edition of ICC Champions trophy.The tournament was supposed to take place in Pakistan in the month of September but has been rescheduled as most countries refused to travel to Pakistan for security reasons.The total prize pool for ICC Champions Trophy 2009 will be $4 million.
