A mega free annual eye camp held at DSS, Sirsa was inaugurated by Baba Ram Rahim Ji on December 13, 2010.

Saint Ji has been inaugurating these camps in Dera Sacha Sauda from the last 2 decades. The camp is organized every year as an honor to Saint Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj, second spiritual master of Sacha Sauda dera.

Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim ji inaugurated the camp by joining the ribbons, instead of cutting the ribbon.

The camp lasted for 3 days viz., 13, 14 & 15 December. Not only free eye-checks, but eye-operations including corneal transplants were also carried out. 4603 patients were checked just the very first day upto 13 December.

Several world-renowned doctors, eye-surgeons rendered their free services in the camp. Majority of surgeons were from AIIMS, New Delhi (All India Institute of Medical Sciences)

1852 Eye-Surgeries were done this time as compared to 1663 in 2009.

35 counters were placed for registration of patients, out of which 11 were for only female patients’ registration and 24 were for male patients. The volunteers were deputed at every place to help the patients in every way.

Saint Ji organizes such camps from time to time. And many world renowned doctors render their services here and look after the patients. The treatment is done totally free, from checking to distributing medicines, everything is rendered free of cost.
