Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal’s wife Surinder Kaur died today in PGIMER (Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research). She was suffering from cancer from a long time.

On other side, whole family is in great grief. The son, daughter and especially Prakash Singh is in great sorrow and is very sad on his wife’s death.

He said that the loss is unbearable to him. The political leader Chief Minister was grieving and said that it’s very difficult for him to console himself on this death. He said that he was deeply attached to her wife and he didn’t expect that she will pass away at this age.

When the conditions became more serious, she was admitted at PGIMER this month. She was having Throat Cancer.

She left her son Sukhbir Singh, daughter Preenet Kaur and husband behind. Sukhbir is president of Akali dal.

Sources say that she would be given fire tomorrow Wednesday in Southwest Punjab at Badal village in Muktsar district. Her body is already taken to the village.

She was 75 years old and was fighting from the prolonged illness from al long time. Her illness was shown to many doctors but none was able to cure her. And at last was admitted in the PGIMER hospital.
