China is on number one when compared to population of the world. The Chinese government is trying their best to control this increasing population and in many ways, they are gaining success too. But the government is unable to control the increasing number of suicides in the country.

As per a survey conducted by Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CCDC), every year around 2 million people try to commit suicides and around 287,000 people gain success in these suicidal attempts. In every 2 minutes, one person tries to suicide.

It can be seen that the number of people who actually gain success in suicides is less as compared to the people who try in doing so. The reason is that these persons are saved by their neighbors, relatives and friends. When they come to know that their lovable is going to kill himself or herself then they reach at that place and take him or her to the hospital and many are saved by the doctors after minor or major treatments.

As per the survey report, the number of suicidal attempts has increased to 60% in last 5 decades. This is 3.7 percent of the total deaths in China. Further it is been revealed that 75% of such suicide cases were reported in villages. It is also been revealed that the suicide deaths of ladies have been increased by 25%.

This all stats make China the world’s Maximum Suicide Rates country. The rate is 22.23 people out of every 100,000.

Further, the report said that most of such persons who kill themselves are aged between 15 to 34 years.

This is a matter of worry for Chinese government as the youth that is considered as the backbone of any country is killing itself and such things can weaken the economy of any country.
